A few yards from a hiking trail atop Mingus Mountain, a very old grave covered with stones, and a wooden cross nailed to a ponderosa pine tree decorated with a faded yellow rose marks the grave of Sadie. Scrawled into the wood and a red heart drawn in red are the words, "Sadie (last name is inlegible). We miss you and love you, rest in peace".
