Easter 2009

Easter is always a special time for our family. We are a large family and travel in herds. We usually go on a picnic and Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, but this year Rose and Cliff announced they were hosting a family breakfast. With memories of past holidays of family get-togethers still fresh in their minds of the herd stampeding into the holiday host's abode, they carefully laid out a plan. Each family was invited to come any time between 8:00 and 10:00 A.M. for a cooked-to-order breakfast. Everything went according to plan, orderly and without incident. At no time did anyone feel unsafe. Rose sent each of us on our way with a special Easter Basket filled with candy and chocolate to enjoy throughout the day. It was a great Easter and perhaps the beginning of a new tradition.
